I bought this for a 2018 Honda Ridgeline. Originally when I mounted this, the driver side rail was just a little long. After several email exchanges, customer support sent a replacement rail with correct measurements. I also noticed a design flaw. The Honda Ridgeline tailgate opens as a regular tailgate and also as a door from the right (passenger) side. From the original design, the release for the cover is on the left (driver) side...the same side that the hinge for the tailgate door is located. When you open the tailgate as a door, the release for the cover is not accessible. You can only release the cover when the tailgate is open as a traditional truck. If the cover lock/release hardware is mounted on the passenger side rail, the release is accessible when opening the tailgate as a traditional tailgate AND as a door. Since I had an additional rail, I was able to mount that cover lock hardware on the passenger side and it works great! Truxedo - Please pass this suggestion to your engineers. Please see attached photos to help explain. One picture is before I moved the hardware, one is after I moved the hardware, and the other is from your original design where the hardware is mounted at the hinge of the tailgate. Final thoughts on this product: Definitely worth the money! I am very pleased with the quality of the product, design (except for noted), customer service and ease of installation. I suggest a second person to assist with installation to hold rail secure when initially mounting. Truxedo provides additional mounts custom designed for the Ridgeline. Cover does a great job to hold out water from truck bed. We have had several heavy rains and no leaks detected, though most valuables I place inside the cab for security. lanenj July 30, 2020 Just installed it. Took about 2 hours from unboxing, reading directions, and installation, but I am very meticulous so it could take less time. I loosened the 6 torx bolts in the bed (use number 30 bit) before ordering the cover, so I would be sure I would not run into any issues there. I am posting primarily to say it is very easy to move the latch from the left (driver) side bar to the right, so that you will be able to open the gate from the side and then unlatch the cover. This took less than 10 minutes. (Truxedo should really consider doing this for you before shipping to Ridgeline owners) Before you do anything else, you take the rails out of the box and you are basically removing one bolt on each side, and then swapping the latching hardware from one side to the other. Don't be intimidated. Overall the cover looks good and was not particularly hard to install. It helps to have a second hand to push the rails against the side when tightening (although I can tell it will still not be water tight). The cover fits well upon installation without adjusting the tension, but I will see after a week if it needs adjustment. Customer December 8, 2020 Very good Joshua S. December 18, 2020 A little expensive, but had on my truck now for a year without issue. Does require periodic maintenance and vinyl/rubber care (autoglym works best). ASC December 11, 2020 I bought this one from Amazon Warehouse deals (probably from a 1 star reviewer/returner). This one was made in February 2019. It was missed the hardware, but for $200, I thought it was worth trying. The hardware from my previous cover (Bakflip VP - absolute garbage BTW; it completely failed and duct tape couldn't save it) worked for this. So, looks are great. Nice and clean. Fit is lacking. I don't know if Truxedo is limited by the Honda-camino design, but I feel it could have been engineered and cut more generously. The width doesn't allow it to hit the velcro more than 50% at the most on both sides. I spent a lot of time squaring it up, but this was the best I could do. Also, the rubber at the front barely touches the bulkhead. It's guaranteed to leak there. At the tailgate, the back is about 1 1/2" from the top of the closed gate. I don't require water-proofness in my tonneau 95% of the time, so I'll live with it. Overall, it's a decent product, but I wouldn't drop full price on it. If I did, you probably would have found it for $200 in warehouse deals. :-D Richard Bullotta November 7, 2020 It's a rare occasion when a product exceeds expectations, but the Truxedo Lo-Pro for my Honda Ridgeline did just that. It truly was an easy install (less than 30 minutes), the cover fits literally PERFECTLY out of the box, seals tightly, is easy to open and close, looks great, no noise, and added about 2 MPG in fuel economy on my last highway trip, even with an extra 600 lbs of cargo in the truck. Very impressed. Brad S May 18, 2019 Installed on 2018 Ridgeline. Installation was straightforward and quicker than expected, partially due to not having to remove the anchor points like other tonneau covers. Checked for leaks during a light rain and found several. I managed to fix side-rail leaks by applying more pressure to the rail and re-tightening to improve the fit, but the vast majority or the leaks were near the front of the bed. Possibly a combination of the Ridgeline lacking the typical gap between a pickup's bed and cab, so water builds up rapidly, and failure of the cover to properly seal to the bed. Regardless of reason, if you're looking for a properly sealing cover look elsewhere, if that isn't a major concern the cover goes on quickly and looks good. Customer March 12, 2018 Truxedo 530601 was easy to install on my 2017 Honda Ridgeline. Only took about 30 minutes to install and instructions are pretty straightforward. The biggest issue to the install was the 1-1/2 hours it took to get the factory bolts out of the bedside.Be prepared for screws that are over torqued and cross threaded from the factory. had to use allen wrenches/easy outs/vice grips to get 4 of the 6 screws out. I then had to go to get new hardware to install the mounting brackets to the side of the bed. Used Never Seize on the new screws to make sure they can be removed if necessary at a later date. 4th tonneau cover I have installed over the years and this by far was the longest it has taken. No fault of Truxedo though. It looks very good and I would expect it to last for several years from my experience with this brand of cover in the past.
